Perfectly Strong Women: Carly Walko

What is your definition of a Perfectly Strong Woman?
My definition of a “Perfectly Strong Woman” is someone who pursues their dreams and never apologizes for it.

Tell us more about your business.
ThirtySomethingFashion is full-service personal styling for women of all ages with a “thirtysomething” mindset. I work with all sizes, tastes and budgets. Each client experience is unique and can be tailored to the individual. One of my most popular services is the “TSF Box Service”, an innovative idea of personalized boxes of style delivered to clients doorsteps all over the country. In early 2016 I launched “ThirtySomethingTees”, a tee shirt collection that is made in USA, of impeccable quality and gives back to my local Children’s Hospital. What is one piece of advice that you would give a young woman aspiring to fulfill her dream?
One tidbit of advice would be there are no shortcuts to success. Hard work, passion, and drive will ultimately help you reach your goals. Put in the hard work, learn from those willing to teach you and then the sky is truly the limit.

As a busy woman, what is a time-saving technique or life hack that you would share?
I have one beauty related hack: Rodan and Fields Lash Boost. Seriously…give it the 6 weeks to boost your lashes and you can go without makeup! My lashes are thick and lush now and I rarely wear makeup or mascara when I am running around town.

My “mom” related hack is picking out our outfits the NIGHT BEFORE. I can’t think of a single situation where I do not lay out my children’s outifts as well as my own before school, events or just in general. When we need to get out of the house quick, this is a HUGE timesaver.

What is your one guilty pleasure?
My one guilty pleasure is definitely reality TV. Love the Housewives!
